I have to say, It's been one heck of an amazing year, not only have I been unfortunate enough to have two books released with Secret Cravings Publishing with Embracing Desires book 4 and Dan's Desires book 5 in the Desires series all available for download and in print now!

I often get asked what was the reason behind writing Desires, and too be honest it was a book I wrote with my dirty mind, I wanted to write about fun, filled hard erotic sex, and how amazing it would be for couples off all sexualities to visit a special club, where no care for what you sexuality is, and your desires would be fulfilled and boy, did my imagination take over.

I admit I've learned so much from writing Desires and how the sex was repetitive at times, and how Dan McVeigh had many "hard" times, but the truth was I never intended to enjoy writing about Dan as much as I did, my initial idea was just to make him a gigolo, sex worker, and not really care about anything but himself, only his character took hold and I ended up finding myself trapped in his sweetness, adorability and discovering the real man he is!

Desires was written from Stacie Cliffords POV  with the intensions to gain her confidence and be the person who she deserved to be, not only does she discover herself, but discovers the true meaning of being wanted, cherished, and protected. Then after writing all Stacie's books, I decided to allow Dan to take over and help me write his, which is out now, book 5.

I have enjoyed my wonderful journey with Desires and learned so much and I'd sincerely from the bottom of my heart, like to thank all the team, authors and readers at Secret Cravings Publishing for giving me the dream I had always dreamed about since being a young girl. And thank you for bringing my characters to life, I would also like to thank everyone who has been involved in the five books, Nikki Blaise, Isobelle Cate, and Colleen you guys rock! And my fans, thank you so, so much.

I've recently become a nana for the first time this month, the best gift ever from my daughter and her fiancĂ© on the 9th, and I have to say, it's one of those moments that I will treasure forever in my heart. Not only have me and my family been gifted not with one baby but two, my daughter had twins and boy Jacob Luke and a girl Thea Louise. They were born premature and had to go into special baby care unit where they were so well looked after and my daughter and her fiancĂ© took to parenthood with a breeze.

I'm speechless to the little people who have come into my life unconditionally and I will love them with all my heart. I have mentioned that they will not be spoilt children in gifts, but our love and that is the best gift you can ever offer.

Jacob and Thea

Life if just full of the most precious gifts.
And today both my beautiful grandbabies are home, what more could I have asked for this Christmas?

To win a copy of any Desires book please answer me what are you blessed with this Christmas?
Please remember to leave your e-mail address :)

Headfirst into Home

By: Jennifer Simpkins

Blurb:

Coming off of a divorce, Rachel Young’s focus is on moving forward and making a life for her and her daughter. When ex-baseball hottie, Ty Robinson, waltzes back into her life, tempting her with his kisses, forming a bond with her daughter, and making promises for their future, she willingly gives him her heart.

Ty has harbored a deep desire for small town beauty, Rachel, for the past ten years. Fate dropped her in his path when they were teenagers, leading to one magical night. Following an injury, he has come home, determined to prove to Rachel he is home for good.

After a life changing phone call, Ty is faced with taking another opportunity at playing the game he’s always loved and the woman and child that have stolen his heart. In the end, is he capable of giving Rachel what she needs—a sense of home and most importantly, honesty?

Excerpt:

With all the laughter and cracking of the billiard balls, Rachel was amazed she’d even heard the bell ding above the entrance door, either announcing or saying good-bye to a customer. People were coming in, while others were making it an early night and heading home. This was one of those rare nights where she didn’t have to be home at a certain time. Her mom responsibilities were put on hold for the next twelve hours. Her daughter was safe and happy, and Rachel was set on having a good time.

She saw him first.

If she was smart she would’ve sank down in the booth, trying to make herself unnoticeable or give him the hint she still wasn’t interested in talking. It was the same way she treated him after…well, after the night that changed her life. She was still on the fence as to if that change was a good thing…or a very bad thing.

Turns out she wasn’t smart. At least not when sinfully, sexy Ty Robinson stood just feet away from where she sat. Smart and Ty never had gone hand in hand with her. He clouded her judgment—always had. She sat up straight, almost announcing herself to him, begging him to waltz in her direction.

His warm gaze locked on her instantly. Was he surprised to see her? She couldn’t tell. But from what she could tell by his wide grin, flashing pearly whites, he didn’t look unpleasant at the sight of her. That was a good sign.

“Mmm…” God, did she just sigh out loud. No, it wasn’t fair he still could turn her brain to mush. How was that even possible?

“What’s that?” Morgan asked, her eyes narrowed. “What’s wrong with you? You look like you’ve seen a ghost.”

No, it wasn’t a ghost, not by a long shot. She would have been a lot safer if the man standing just feet away from her, looking like the hottest thing ever to grace The Eight Ball, was paranormal. A fitted gray T-shirt stretched over a formed chest, revealing muscular—but not overwhelming—tanned arms. Was it possible he’d grown taller since the last time she’d seen him? He had to be at least six feet plus inches. Long legs filled the luckiest faded pair of blue jeans. And here she thought seeing him on television, under the blazing sun, perspiration forming above his brow, and with an intense expression as he sized up his opponent in the batter’s box was enough to get her juices flowing. Watching his baseball games were entertaining, but didn’t come close to seeing him up close.

Rachel couldn’t will herself to look away. “I can’t believe he’s back. Why is he here?” Ty’s sister, Stacey, one of her best friends, never said anything about her twin brother coming back to town. At least not to Rachel, she didn’t. Could it have been Stacey didn’t even know? “I wonder if Stacey has seen him yet.” Another thought came to mind. It was enough to turn her attention back on Morgan. “How do I look?”

“You look like you always do. Why is who back? And what does it have to do with Stacey? I’m sorry, Rach, but you’re not making a lick of sense.”

Rachel fiddled with the paper napkin under her glass of wine, too afraid to look up again. “Ty. Ty Robinson just walked in.”

Before Rachel could tell her friend not to make it obvious they were talking about him by whipping her head around, Morgan was already turned completely around in the booth, eyes fixated on Ty. “Oh. My. God. It’s really him, isn’t it?”

Isn’t that what she had just said? “Morgan,” Rachel said through clenched teeth. “He’s looking right at us. Can you please turn your ass back around? Geez!”

“What do you think this means?” Morgan asked, once again facing forward. “I think he retired the end of last season. I think I heard it was some kind of arm injury. Do you think he’s back for good?”

Opening Day, something she only knew because it was considered a holiday in Lincoln Springs, was a little over three weeks ago. And since he was in Lincoln Springs and not playing under the big lights, it was safe to say the rumors of Ty retiring after only playing six years in the Major Leagues was true.

“I’m not sure what it all means.”

“Well, it’s not like he hasn’t been back in the past ten years. He used to visit once a year.”

This time felt different. In the past ten years Rachel had only seen glimpses of Ty around town when he would come to visit his family. She had stayed away, never even offering a hello to him, because of her marriage to James. As far as she knew he hadn’t been in town in the last three years.

The already loud bar got even louder as everyone figured out the biggest thing to come out of Lincoln Springs had returned. A lot of hellos were given, a lot more slaps on the back…and of course women appeared out of every corner like cockroaches, swarming around him.

Rachel casually sipped her wine, peeking over the rim of the glass to catch another eyeful of an all grown-up Ty Robinson. In the past couple years she’d caught a few of his games. Because he played on the West Coast, the games were always on late. Sometimes after she’d put Brooklyn to bed and had a few minutes to sit back and relax, she would turn on a California Wolverines game. She wasn’t always sure what exactly was happening on the ball field, but…God, the things that man could do to her. She didn’t have to understand all the ins and outs of baseball to appreciate the sight of him in a pair of uniform pants.

Leisurely walking through the crowd of people, shaking hands with guys he’d grown up with, smiling at all the pretty girls who fluttered their eyelashes at him, Rachel watched him make his way toward the booth she and Morgan shared.

“Don’t look,” Rachel said. She felt it was important to remind Morgan of that right off the bat. What was up with her and baseball terms tonight? “He’s coming over here.”

Jennifer has always been an avid reader, but it wasn't until she became a stay-at-home mom did she start to read romance. Her passion of reading romance turned into another passion she had as a child—writing. One late night of writing about sexy heroes and strong-willed heroines turned into two nights, until seven months later she had written her first novel.

She lives in a small, North Carolina town with her supportive husband (whose dream is to be on the cover of one of her books), a beautiful daughter, and two dogs who can’t seem to get along. If she's not writing you can find her reading, hanging out with her family, or cheering on the New York Yankees.

It's almost Christmas!

Well, I cannot believe we'll be celebrating Christmas, being with our loved ones and sharing some spectacular time together. I love Christmas, at least I do when not working it, so as a family we have to make other arrangements, regardless this year I'll have the family together on Boxing day, but just being with them and sharing quality time together, will be the best gift.

Now, I enjoy about Christmas and hearing Christmas tunes, and listening to carol singers, it always gets me into the spirit.

So here I am sharing with you my favourite tunes.

Speechless Week

Today, I have decided to put together this special blog, as this week has been one in my life I will remember forever. The shock and yet the most rewarding breath-taking time to occur in my life.

I have been blessed not only with the upcoming release of Dan's Desires book 5 in the Desires series on Monday 15th, but the amazing arrival of my two grandbabies Thea Louise and Jacob Luke. Mum had her water break on the 8.12.14, late evening. The midwives couldn't stop her contractions coming thick and fast and therefore resulted in her having an emergency C-section and them being born 6.5 weeks early, resulting with them in special baby care unit, being looked after by the wonderful staff. Mum and babies are doing fantastic, and here are some pictures of my beautiful grandbabies
Thea Louise weighing 3lb 15oz born 4.45am  9/12/14

Jacob Luke weighing 4lb 10oz born 4.46 am 9/12/14
Words fail me to how I feel and I wish to thank everyone for their support and comments during the week.

Excerpts:

PG

“So do you?”

“Do I what?”

“Have a couple of spare quarters? Since you won’t let my man things gyrate around in the water with your woman things.”

Was he saying those kinds of things on purpose? Of course he was, if the puckish grin he now wore was any indicator. Oh, I did like this man. A lot.

“Honey, I’m not sure that your man things are man enough to gyrate with my woman things,” I parried. He chortled then leaned a hip into the washer, his arms folding over his bare chest.

“I’m pretty sure that they are.” He said it with utmost confidence in the prowess of his man things. I sucked down a large gulp, the twinge behind my eye reminding me to slow down. I sipped and enjoyed looking at him, spying a small, silver navel ring glistening from the neon lights overhead. My mouth was dry even though I had just swallowed some of my drink. His steady gaze made me fidget.

“Rather sure of your man things, aren’t you?” I finally said, as I tossed my change purse to him. He caught it with one hand, his eyes never leaving my face.

“Rather,” he commented offhandedly, opened the tiny bag then extracted four quarters. My tongue toyed with the end of my straw. He laid the purse on the top of the machine next to his then arranged the coins in the slots, all four standing erect. Mmm, what a nice word that is. Erect. Makes all sorts of dirty, sweaty images appear inside a woman’s mind, doesn’t it?

R

“Excuse me, sir, but this cart is mine.”

“Really? And how is that, Roxanne? Clearly I was here first.” He leaned over the cart, his scruffy cheek brushing mine he whispered beside my ear. “You were engrossed with erotic thoughts about my mouth and the pleasure it could bring you.”

He drew back. My brain shut down as my mouth dropped open. That was all the time Donavon needed to commandeer the cart.

“No I wasn’t.” There. Take that. I bet that verbal spear pierced a few vitals. Not.

Damn the man for reading me like that beaten-up poetry book of his. He shrugged a shoulder, the inked one. An emerald-eyed tiger rolled it’s head at the up and down motion.

“Yeah, you totally were. Would you like me to tell you the signs of arousal that you’re wearing at the moment?” He threw several pairs of wet jeans into the cart. They landed with a slap.

“The only thing that I’m wearing at the moment is a dash of lovely,” I countered quickly.

“Yes, you are incredibly lovely, and horny. Your nostrils are flared, your eyes are wanton, your nipples are hard, and you keep licking your lips.” He paused in tossing balled-up shirts into the cart. “You also keep crossing and uncrossing your legs.”

Shit. Okay. So the man knew I was sporting a big girl-boner for him.

“Maybe I just have hives.” I tugged the cart away from him then stalked over to my washer with the buggy in tow. I heard his throaty chuckle behind me.

“Maybe you want me to take you somewhere private and read you something…Sapphic.”

He was right behind me, his breath fluttering past my left ear, his body close enough to exchange sparks with mine. Damn. Damn. Damn. My spine stiffened, as did my nipples. They were now so hard they hurt.

“You think reading me lesbian poetry will turn me on?” I inquired, trying to sound as if his smoldering nearness was having no effect. The smoky cast to my voice kind of ruined the indifferent attitude I was going for.

“I think you’re already turned on.” I heard the cart being nudged aside. I stood as still as a deer in a strange meadow, alert to every sound. My fingers gripped the lid to the machine as he stepped closer. The touch of his chest to my back was seismic. Desire didn’t just uncoil like a snake finding a warm rock, it rose up like a jungle cat, and then stretched, sharp claws of need raking open my calm exterior.

Blurb

Holly Berry is grateful to be alive... so she has a new bucket list. No more nice girl for the new Holly... this year her wish for Santa is on the naughty list.
Noah Miller plays Santa Claus at Snowdrop House, where he is surprised to find a very grownup...and willing...Holly Berry on his knee. He’d never guessed that a Santa costume and twenty-four hours would make such a difference to his Christmas.
Will this little sexy little bundle of fun who rocks his world change his future too?

Excerpt

“Well done, Santa, you did what I’ve been trying to do for weeks.”

“It was the suit; you did all the hard work.” He smiled back. Holly Berry, he shook his head at the times she’d been teased about her name. An incredible bundle of sexuality who was totally unaware of how attractive she was. It was only accentuated by her kind and gentle nature. It had always made her even sexier. Her deep green eyes were framed by the darkest lashes he’d ever seen.

Her blonde hair was cut short, the long curls were gone, leaving the silken strands curling at the ends. He liked it and wondered what had made her chop it all off. Last Christmas when he’d seen her it had been long.

He’d fancied her for years, and yet they’d never got together. Holly avoided him except when he would watch her looking at him, and then she’d realise, and her face would go a deep red.

He leaned down capturing her wrist in his hand, and tugging her up gently he drew her onto his lap, just like one of the children. A flush reddened her cheeks as she looked around, but he’d made sure everyone was busy with the boys and girls who were playing with their new toys before he’d tugged her onto his lap. Holly turned back to him.

“I think you’ll find I’m not a child and a little too heavy for your knee.”

“Not heavy at all.” He pursed his lips as he looked her up and down. “Definitely. Not. A. Child.” He pronounced the words singly.

She giggled but he knew it was a nervous gesture. His mouth quirked beneath the scratchy moustache. Noah placed his hand on her thigh, the slacks she wore were thin and the heat from her skin warmed his hand.

Sexy.

“So Miss Holly Berry would you be on the naughty or nice list this Christmas?”

Lord of Fire – Wytchfae 5 by Flossie Benton Rogers

Paranormal Fantasy Romance

10-29-2014

Hi, Holly! Flossie Benton Rogers here. Thank you for hosting me today! Your website is lovely, and I look forward to your new book, Dan’s Desire’s, coming out in late November. My book Lord of Flame – Wytchfae 5 just released in time for Halloween. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to tell you a little about it. First, I thought we’d start with a couple of comments about the Wytchfae world that permeates each book in the series and look at the definition of a Wytchfae.

The World of Wytchfae: Closer to us than a hair’s breadth are the realms encountered in the Wytchfae series of paranormal romance / urban fantasy novels. These mysterious places are populated with faeries, witches, demons, angels, goddesses, dark guardians, ghosts and other magical beings. The beings dwell in multiple dimensions parallel to our own earth dimension. Some of the worlds are welcoming, others dangerous and forbidding. Through the darkest night and the fright of unchained chaos, love will always shine.

Wytchfae: A Wytchfae is a trained witch who has at least a drop of fae or faery blood thrumming through her veins. This bloodline back to ancient Celtic times heightens her powers over what mere training can do. A Wytchfae resides on the human earth plane but sometimes has occasion to travel back and forth in time and also to visit the Underworld and other parallel dimensions. A man can be a witch and have fae blood but is not called a Wytchfae. He is usually called a male witch, warlock or sorcerer. Different Wytchfae have different skills and various levels of power. Garnet McAnna, the Wytchfae heroine in Lord of Fire, has great tracking ability but also likes to play with knives and guns.

Lord of Fire – Wytchfae 5

Blurb: When The Hawk meets his Wytchfae, the result is spontaneous combustion.

Garnet McAnna chases the demon responsible for attacking and enslaving innocent fae familiars. She never expected to run headlong into a mesmerizing stranger known as The Hawk. Nor did she anticipate the way his masculine power kindles a womanly flame within her.

Exiled from an elite warrior's brigade, Lord of Fire Gabriel Hawk guards his heart and his solitude. He wants nothing to do with the world of men or the realm of fae. Then a beautiful Wytchfae bursts into his life, stirring desire and sparking need. Garnet is on a dangerous mission, and he can't let her face the evil alone. What else can he do but fight beside her? When she disappears, he raises hell to find her. Will he be too late? Will darkness conquer this couple or will love burn their souls into one?

First Line Teaser: She’d catch the demon tonight if it killed her.

Memorable Quote: “Garnet McAnna, you’re the hottest woman in thirteen worlds.”

Excerpt:

Garnet dimpled as morning’s first whispered glow cast an incandescent gleam on their half-naked flesh. Lying on their sides, bodies touching, an electrical current seemed to bolt back and forth between them. Reaching out, she raked a hand through The Hawk’s blue-black hair. She loved the sight of it spread out on the pillow and its silken texture in her fingers. The hard planes of his chest enticed her to seek him there as well.

One corner of his mouth tilted into a smile. “Brazen woman.”
